Kerry Tobin

“The garden of the world has no limits except in your mind. Its presence is more beautiful than the stars, with more clarity than the polished mirror of your heart.” Rumi

Philosophy explores the world in hopes of making it clearer. As William James wrote, “The whole function of philosophy ought to be to find out what definite difference it will make to you and me”. I hope to help my clients explore their world with the goal of becoming more clear and gaining more insight into their own lives. Seeking insight philosophically is a wonderful adventure undertaken by counselor and client. I invite you to contact a certified counselor and begin your journey.

My name is Kerry Tobin and I was born in Bayside, NY. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY. I received my Master of Arts in Philosophy from Cleveland State University in 2000 and my Certificate in Client Counseling from the APPA in Palermo, Sicily. My interests include American Pragmatism and Ancient Philosophy. I am currently teaching at a local college and work as a project consultant for an art program. I am available for individual and group sessions and do consulting work for a variety of businesses.
