Giselle Monges

She is Professor graduated in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1987 and got her Licenciature in Philosophy and Science Education from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is working on her Ph.D. from the University of Navarra. She also studied Ethics and Anthropology at Oxford University.

Her main fields of research are Ethics, Philosophy of mind, Philosophy Education, Epistemology and Philosophical Practice.

She has been teaching Philosophy, Knowledge Theory, Ethics, Anthropology, Political and Social Philosophy for more than ten years at the University in Buenos Aires. In 1998 she received an award from the University of Belgrano for her works on the Faculty of Architecture, Economics and Science. Her feature articles are “Wisdom and Virtue an action theory for today”; “Power - Instinct or Reason -”; “Agreements and No Violence”; “Philosophy a world to discover our own world”; “A Concept of Mind”. Her lectures were listened at several schools, most of the subject about the importance and actuality of philosophy in education, science, and human life; ethics and action. She also participated in radio programs. And worked as consultant in management ethics.

As APPA member in Argentina she is counselling for those who are searching an alternative therapy, a new kind of treatment to consider theirs life in a philosophical perspective.
