www.AskTheEthicist.com

Katrina is a clinical ethicist who specializes in the analysis and resolution of complex ethical dilemmas for inpatients and outpatients. Her work crosses all medical specialties including caridology, hepatology, pediatrics, hospice, transplant, and the ICU. It can be difficult for patients and families to sort through their values and feelings during a medical crises. What are ethically appropriate options? What are inappropriate options? What if the values of the patient and family collide? How can ethical principles and contextual features be analyzed? What is quality of life?

In January 2011, her new book, Finding Your Way: A Medical Ethics Handbook for Patients and Families (Hilton Publishing) will be available for sale on-line and in bookstores nationwide. She has published over 70 articles in peer reviewed medical and ethics journals and she lectures nationally and internationally.

Katrina is available for consultations via the contact details above. Her extensive cv is located at www.AskTheEthicist.com
